Magnificent profile of a Tasseled Scorpionfish

Tasseled Scorpionfish are well camouflaged predatory fish that lay on the bottom or on coral waiting for prey to pass by. They rely on their color, which they change to blend in with their environment. Some grow filaments resembling algae or get covered in hydroids to blend in even better.
